at first: when this happened, i had a bad shoulder, two weeks before the ties in it was torn partly. so i wasnt possible to ride as aggressive as usual. i just landed a little short on a table (the trail wasnt 100% in shape, so there was a small indent) i pushed my frontwheel down cause i thougt i could make it this way, but i was too short. the frontwheel landed exactly on the edge between the "table" and the landing, the fork bottemd out quite hard but i was able to hold my bar. by the way, the jump wasnt nearly big, something bout 5 meter long. after rolling some meters i realized that something wasnt good anymore, i got off my bike, watched and started laughing for about one hour...
the interesting thing is, that the fork (rock shox lyric) and the frontwheel (some bontrager enduro bullshit) don't get hurt cause of this action. and i have two buddys (one of em is a bikemechanic too) which could testify that story!
@ridinkona: haha its making sense that a kona rider claims about other people, which wants lighter bikes hahahaha
no, for real i'm not a lightweight freak, i didn't want the remedy at all, i had ordered the session (which seems not to be real stronger). after waiting 3 months, i took the remedy just to have something to ride. it had to be a trek, cause at this time i worked in a shop that just sells trek ... ok ... now i know ... thats dumb enough!
